 Carbon steel plate has usually been considered as the steel that does not contain much alloy steel elements, also named as mild steel. Generally, elements are C, Mn, P, S, Si, besides these, there are no minimum limits for elements of Al, Cr, Ni, Mo, V, etc.

Carbon steel plates are available in different grades depending on the carbon content and strength.
As the content of Carbon increase, the steel plate hardness increases.

Low carbon steel plate: For carbon content 0.06% to 0.25%, also we call it mild steel plate.

Medium carbon steel plate: C content from 0.25% to 0.55%.

High carbon steel plate: 0.55% to 1.0%, also called hard steel plate.

Low carbon steel is the most common form, and it's very malleable and ductile. Medium carbon steel balances ductility as well as strength for excellent wear resistance. High carbon steel is exceptionally strong, while ultra-high carbon steel can be tempered to even greater hardness but no malleability.

Production Process

Manufacturing Technique
Cutting  large steel plates as your requirements to make the surface of the plate bright by miling and grinding, also can make holes and make angle degrees,and can weld by your drawing.
For the thickness under 30mm, cutting by laser; For thickness over 30mm, mainly OXY-cut, flame cutting.
For the thickness 200mm steel plate, because during the flame cutting, the temperature is very high, so the cutting parts steel plate might be broken at the angle part, then our workers will repair the angles to be good condition.

Size range: Plate width 1500-4020mm, thickness 6-700mm, length 3000-18800mm.

Delivery status: According to the requirements of users, according to hot rolling, normalizing, tempering, normalizing plus tempering, quenching and other delivery.

Standard: According to user requirements, can be delivered the following criteria: National standards, the metallurgical industry, the American ASTM, ASME standards, Japanese JIS, German DIN, British BS, European EN, the international ISO standards and the standards specific board.

Product Test

We will control the quality from part of material steel plate, each plate produced will be have it is own identify label, quality will check the chemical component and physical property and then provide material test certificate. Size dimension will be checked and show pictures to customer to guarantee all goods will be meet requirement.
Accept inspection from a third party designated/paid by the buyer, such as SGS, BV.
